Canderside Gait Residents Association

The area covered by the Association consists of the whole of the Canderside Gait Persimmon development.

The objects of the Association are :

* To protect and enhance the character and amenity of the districts of Canderside, with the aim of improving the quality of life of their residents.

* To foster a spirit of good fellowship among the residents in pursuit of service to the community.

* To produce a periodical magazine to inform the members about the activities of the Association.

The Association is non-party-political.

Meetings are usually held each month starting at 7pm in Stonehouse Hospital. The A.G.M. is to all members of the Association, while the others are normally for committee members only, though Special General Meetings may be called at other times if necessary.

Annual membership costs £10 per household. Members will receive a regular copy of the Association's newsletter.

There is an active Neighbourhood Watch initiative in the development. Details of this can be found on our news pages.
